Every wedding, meeting or special event receives the personal attention of a dedicated conference coordinator who will work with you to oversee every detail. From A/V needs to transportation requests, from spa appointments to tee times, from menu planning to local resource recommendations, your conference coordinator ensures your event is executed to perfection.

The Sunrise Room

Named for the morning sunlight that floods the space, this room is the epitome of Rancho Valencia’s style. It is a ceramic wonderland with bright blue, yellow and green hand-painted tiles and charming mosaics covering the walls. The open beamed ceiling and fireplace create a warm and cozy setting for luncheons and dinners. The Sunrise Room can accommodate up to 30 guests for meals and, with the addition of the adjacent Palm Room up to 60 guests.

The Sunrise Patio

This private courtyard is the perfect setting for wedding ceremonies. The bleached wood trellis adorned with climbing white roses is picture perfect for exchanging vows. Flower beds overflowing with more white roses, bougainvillea and hibiscus, a bubbling fountain and saltillo tiles underfoot create a magical setting in which to gather family and friends. For ceremonies of up to 150 guests.

La Sala

This sophisticated yet casual area is ideal for cocktail receptions. It features a massive fireplace with a stone mantle, antique tables and armoire and wrought iron chandeliers. A large picture window frames magnificent views of the Croquet Lawn and the grounds beyond. Two sets of French doors open onto a partially covered, Saltillo tiled terrace. For receptions of up to 70 guests.

The Croquet Lawn

Sunset views and gently floating hot air balloons create a magical backdrop to this magnificent setting. Surrounded by beds of hibiscus and bougainvillea and shaded by towering palms and California Live Oak trees, the 9,000 square foot croquet lawn has played host to events from simply elegant to stunningly lavish for up to 400 guests. Events on the Croquet Lawn are custom-tented to your exact specifications ensuring the wedding of your dreams. For receptions up to 400 guests.

The Upper Lawn

Situated in one of the prettiest gardens at Rancho Valencia, this expanse of gently rolling lawn, surrounded by our Spanish-Mediterranean casitas and beautiful coral trees, makes for a magical ceremony site. 
For ceremonies up to 400 guests.

The Terrace Room and Patio

The Terrace Room offers intimacy and versatility. Tile wainscoting, wall sconces and custom carpet and furnishings set this room apart. Plantation-shuttered French doors open onto a covered terrace, framed by a series of arches and set off by vibrant bougainvillea.
This 1,484 square foot space features expansive lighting options, the latest in A/V technology and versatile seating arrangements. A foyer off of the Terrace Room is an ideal staging area for greeting guests and presentations. This tranquil environment can accommodate up to 80 people, utilizing the Terrace Patio, up to 120 guests.

The Fountain Courtyard

This versatile patio area features a large Spanish-style fireplace and outdoor bar, both accented with hand-painted blue and white tiles. The center piece is a striking terra cotta fountain that is surrounded by potted plants, Sago Palms and bougainvillea.
For meals up to 90 guests or, when combined with La Sala, a cocktail reception for 400.

The Board Room

The Board Room offers vaulted, open-beamed ceilings and high-backed executive chairs set around a mahogany table. A fireplace, book-filled credenza and chandeliers create the feel of a stately library. French doors with plantation shutters that let in the natural light open on to a private patio where outdoor seating is available. The executive conference table may seat up to 22 people.
