Rancho Valencia Catering Menu Guidelines

Thank you for considering Rancho Valencia for your special event. We take pride in providing exceptional service for your guests. The following guidelines have been established to guarantee the success of your event.


Rancho Valencia strongly suggests a set menu for your event. A set menu ensures seamless service for your guests. If you wish to offer a choice to your guests, the following guidelines apply:

*A place card must be provided for each individual guest clearly stating his or her choice of entrée. The code for the entrée must be in large letters on the back of the place card. Example: B = Beef, C = Chicken, F = Fish

  • For 20 or more guests, you may select up to 3 entrée and 3 desserts. You must select the same appetizer and/or salad and/or soup courses for your guests. A final count of each entrée and each dessert will be required 3 days prior to your event and place cards identifying each guest's choice are required*. All entrée will be accompanied by Chef's choice of appropriate starch and fresh seasonal vegetables.
  • For 15 - 20 guests, you may select up to 3 entrée. You must select the same appetizer and/or salad and/or soup courses for your guests. Dessert must also be predetermined. Your guests may order their entrée choices on the evening of your event. *Please be aware that using this option of choice of Entrée at the time of service, may delay the service of the entrée course.
  • For less than 15 guests, you may order from a limited dining room menu. We are happy to provide custom menus for your event.

Please be aware that groups of more than 10 will be required to contract for private function space and pay an associated rental fee. Hosted valet parking service is required for groups of more than 15.
