John DeLille

Position: Director of Tennis and Recreation
Born: Los Angeles, CA
Specialties: Tennisize, Family Tennis, Croquet and Group Events.

John has been with the resort since 1990 and oversees all tennis operations. He played volleyball and baseball in college.

Eduardo Sanchez

Position: Head Tennis Professional
Born: Tecate, Mexico
Specialties: Private Lessons

Eduardo has been with Rancho Valencia since 1989 and assists the Tennis Director in all Tennis Operations. He has been a U.S.P.T.A. Pro of the Year and played junior college Tennis. Eduardo started the Sean Eduardo Sanchez Tennis Center in his hometown of Tecate.

Arturo Navarro

Position: Resident Head Professional
Born: Las Mochis, Mexico
Specialties: Advanced Players

Arturo was the top doubles player in Mexico from 1990 to 1997 and was undefeated for 5 straight years. He was the Davis Cup hitting partner for the Mexican team in 1995 and 1996. He is currently a Satellite and Challenger player.

Steve Crawford

Specialties: Video Analysis, Clinics

Steve is in charge of all clinics and was both a high school and college tennis player.

Mark Davis

Position: Tennis Professional
Born: Andover, MA
Specialties: Clinics, Ladies 3.0 to 4.0 workouts, Video Analysis

Mark has been a tennis professional for 10 years. He is Etchberry Certified in strength conditioning, footwork speed and agility and flexibility training. He is also a Master Racquet Stringer. P.T.R certified and was a former USDHS Varsity Boys Coach.

Jack Anderson

Position: Tennis Host/Pro
Born: Marshall, Minnesota
Specialties: Keeping guests and tennis members happy, Doubles

Jack's duties include working in the Pro Shop, racquet stringing, and support for Clinics. Jack was a teacher for 34 years and a Girls' High School tennis coach for 6 years.
