Nestled in the heart of Southern California, Rancho Valencia provides an ideal setting for a variety of activities, including a world-renowned tennis program and full service spa. Beyond the resort’s extraordinary canyon setting, guests can discover championship golf courses, local beaches, hot air ballooning, surfing, sailing, and attractions such as Legoland, Sea World, and the San Diego Zoo.

Tennis
Resort guests are encouraged to play; court time is complimentary throughout stay. Daily clinics and match play arrangement available upon request.

Family Tennis
The family that plays together stays together. The Pro Shop is ready to reserve court time for you and your family. Personalize the lesson any way that you like and to any skill level. Add music! Play games! Have your lesson taped or have lunch delivered courtside. Cost is $150 per family for two hours of instruction, advanced notice is required.

Sport Court Play
Enjoy a game of basketball, volleyball, paddle ball, badminton, or ping pong with the ones you love.

Croquet
Use of equipment is complimentary. Flat soled shoes are required and white clothing is requested.

Bocce Ball
Played on the Croquet Lawn. Use of equipment is complimentary. Tennis shoes required.

Bicycling
Complimentary mountain and cross-training bikes are available at the Tennis Pro Shop.

Walking/Jogging
Local map and distances are available through Guest Services.

Swimming
Heated to 82 degrees, Rancho Valencia's two pools are perfect for laps and year-round enjoyment. You can also enjoy the pleasure of steaming Jacuzzis. The pool located at The Spa is for adults only.

Fitness Center
Visit our new state-of-the-art gym at The Spa, for adults only or our 24-hour gym on the Terrace level of the Clubhouse. Use of equipment is complimentary to resort guests.

Pilates
Improve your posture, flexibility and overall toning at The Spa, daily classes are complimentary to resort guests.

Spin Classes
Uses imagery to enjoy a spinning bike ride while getting a challenging workout. At The Spa, with classes complimentary to resort guests.

Yoga
Experience the pleasure of a Yoga workout designed to improve your health, strength and flexibility at The Spa, daily classes are complimentary for resort guests.

Board Games
Relax in La Sala with a game of Chess, Yahtzee, Bingo, Backgammon, Monopoly or Trivial Pursuit Family Edition. Decks of cards and puzzles are all also available for your enjoyment.
