Catering & Conference Services Manager
The Catering and Conference Services Manager is responsible for booking and coordinating social and special occasion private events including weddings and corporate meetings. The person in this position will develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue goals, respond to catering inquiries, qualify leads, solicit potential clients via telephone prospecting and sales calls, entertain clients, conduct site visits,  prepare proposals and negotiate catering contracts. The person in this role must be capable of analyzing lost business as part of strategic future planning. The person in this role will be doing sales, manage and service/coordinate all corporate meetings, corporate and social events, weddings, group functions and group activities booked through the Catering and Sales department. Candidates must bring a minimum of two years of catering and conference services management experience.

Non-Exempt Positions

Banquet Houseperson | On-Call
The Banquet Houseperson is responsible for setting-up meeting rooms, audio visual equipment, and private events in accordance to the banquet event order specifications. Helps with polishing plates, glassware as well as set-up of cooking equipment, buffet, and coffee breaks. This position requires a minimum of 2 years banquet server experience in a 4 or 5 star resort environment. Must have a valid San Diego Food Handlers card and must be able to communicate proficiently in English.  

Bar Server Assistant | Part-Time
This position will assist restaurant servers in providing quality food and beverage service to guests, according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas and equipment. This position requires 1 year current experience as a food runner in a fine dining environment and 2-3 years experience as a bus person in a upscale environment. Must have a valid San Diego food handler's card and the ability to communicate proficiently in English. Must have flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.  

Dishwasher/Steward | Full-Time
The person in this role is responsible for washing and cleaning glass, china, silver, pots, pans and cooking equipment by machine and hand. Keeps the dish/pot washing area and equipment clean and organized. Additionally cares for and minimize breakage of all such equipment and completes any cleaning projects as advised by Stewarding Supervisor or Chef. Must be able to lift/carry up to 30lbs. frequently and 45lbs. occasionally. Flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must have basic English communication skills.     

Housekeeping Public Areas Attendant | Full-Time
This position is responsible for the cleanliness of all resort public areas. Other responsibilities include deep cleaning and performing special projects. The person in this role contributes to the resort's commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork. This position requires 2 years housekeeping experience preferably in a resort or hotel environment. The person in this role must be able to push/pull/lift a minimum of 25lbs. frequently and 30lbs. occasionally and be able to stand for a long periods of time . Must have basic English communication skills.

Housekeeping Villas Houseperson | Full-Time
The Houseperson is responsible for the cleanliness of the guest rooms interior and exterior including guest patios, entrance areas, linen closets, stairwells, walkways, pathways, trash rooms. Other responsibilities include deep cleaning, handling guest’s requests stocking and removing linen, pressure washing, shampooing carpets, floor care and performing special projects.  Houseperson contributes to the resort commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork

Line Cooks | Full-Time
This position is responsible for preparing and planning for breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Maintains established quality standards. Know assigned menus and be able to assist other employees. Successful candidates have a culinary degree and a minimum of 2 years culinary work experience in a fine dining environment. Candidates that do not have a culinary degree must have a minimum of 3 to 4 years fine dining experience cooking international and regional cuisine. All candidates must possess a San Diego Food Handler's card and must have the ability to communicate proficiently in English. 

Overnight Cook | Full-Time
The Overnight Cook is responsible to prepare and serve food items for guests and employees during the overnight. Complete nightly prep work and to prepare for breakfast shift. Maintain established quality standards. Know assigned menus. Must be self-motivated, dependable, reliable and willing to work under minimal supervision. Successful candidates have a culinary degree and a minimum of 2 years cooking experience in a fine dining environment. Candidates that do not have a culinary degree must have a minimum of 3 years cooking experience in breakfast and lunch in international and regional cooking in a fine dining establishment.

Pool Bartender | Part-Time
The person in this role courteously, enthusiastically, and efficiently takes orders, prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and meals to guests in accordance with existing steps of service. This position requires a minimum of 1-2 years current experience as a bartender in a resort environment.  Must have a valid San Diego Food Handlers card and the ability to communicate proficiently in English.

Restaurant Host/Hostess | Full-Time & Part-Time available
The person in this role Serve as consistent point of contact for restaurant outlets. Courteously greets and escorts guests to assigned tables and assist in seating, ensuring existing standards of service. Answering phone calls as necessary with the highest level of professional language in a calm, clear and concise manner. This position requires a minimum of 1-2 years current experience as a host/greeter in an up-scale restaurant environment, English communication skills, Engaging, warm personality, and a valid San Diego Food Handler's Card. Must have flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. 

Restaurant Server P.M. | Part-Time
The person in this role will serve guests food and beverage in a gracious professional manner. This position will provide a comfortable, exceptional dining experience through the consistent implementation of our existing steps of service. Maintain and improve check averages to ensure the financial success of the operation. This position requires also requires a minimum of 2 year work experience as a server or captain in a Fine Dining environment.  Must have knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, mixed cocktails. San Diego Food Handlers card and ability to communicate proficiently in English is required.

Restaurant Server Assistant P.M. |  Full-Time & Part-Time available

Spa Fitness Cleaning Attendant | Full-Time & Part-Time available
The Fitness attendant’s primary role is to anticipate and satisfy all guests needs in the fitness studios throughout the day and to set up, maintain  and provide a pristine level of cleanliness in the Spa pool, movement studio, Pilates studio, Yoga pavilion and fitness center.  The attendant also provides water, and towels to guests during classes and workouts.This position requires flexible availability to work varied shifts including weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings and holidays. This position requires the ability to lift, pull, carry and push 40lbs frequently, and 60 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.

Spa Massage Therapist | On-Call
This position requires a minimum of 2 years Massage experience in a resort spa setting, overall minimum of 5 years' experience, excellent Swedish, Deep Therapeutic, Hot Stone and pre-natal massage, SD County license & CA Certification of Massage. Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.
