Exempt Position

Director of Housekeeping
The primary function for this role is to supervise the operation of Hotel and Villas Housekeeping, and the cleaning of all public areas and internal offices. Insure that the level of operation and quality of service is up to 5 star standards while maximizing profits and managing expenses wherever possible. The person in this role will motivate and inspire staff and will have a hands-on approach to leading this team. A successful candidate will balance the importance of cost controls, standards and expectations while ensuring the staff is receiving the right tools and training to perform at their best and feel prideful of their contributions to the property and the guest experience! A minimum of 5 years in a luxury environment is required.

Food & Beverage Manager 
This position requires 1-3 years current experience managing luxury resort or fine dining restaurant operation. Must be able to work variable schedule including nights, weekends and all major holidays, must have a valid San Diego County Food Handlers Card and TIPS certification. Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.

Regional Sales Manager
The Regional Sales Manager works remotely from the New York area and is responsible for generating group and transient business mainly from the Eastern Seaboard. The person in this position will assist in the development of regional sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals, will have established contacts that may lead to prospective business, will respond to sales inquiries, qualify leads, solicit potential clients via telephone prospecting and sales calls, entertain clients, determine rates, prep are proposals and negotiate group and transient contracts. The person in this regional role must be capable of analyzing lost business as part of strategic future planning. Candidates must bring proven luxury sales experience, preferably to include remote sales efforts within the luxury travel market.
 

Hourly/Non-Exempt Positions 

Banquet Houseperson | On-Call
This position requires a minimum of 3 years banquet server experience in a 4 or 5 star resort environment. Must have a valid San Diego Food Handlers card and must be able to communicate proficiently in English.

Bar Server | Part-Time 
This position requires a minimum of 1 year work experience in a high volume beverage or nightclub setting. Must have knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, mixed cocktails; including bottle service. San Diego Food Handlers card and ability to communicate proficiently in English is required. Must have flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Bar ServerAssistant | Full-Time 
This position requires 1 year current experience as a food runner in a fine dining environment and 2-3 years experience as a bus person in a upscale environment. Must have a valid San Diego food handler's card, and the ability to communicate proficiently in English. Must have flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Bartender | Full-Time
This position requires a minimum of 1-2 years current experience as a bartender in a resort environment. Must have a valid San Diego Food Handlers card and the ability to communicate proficiently in English. 

Front Office Agent | Full-Time
This position requires customer service experience preferably in an upscale hotel or resort environment. Must be computer literate, knowledge of Word and Excel. Must have flexible availability for varying shift days and times. Must have the ability to communicate proficiently in English. 

Line Cooks | Full-Time
Successful candidates have a culinary degree and a minimum of 2 years culinary work experience in a fine dining environment. Candidates that do not have a culinary degree must have a minimum of 3 to 4 years fine dining experience cooking international and regional cuisine. All candidates must possess a San Diego Food Handler's card and must have the ability to communicate proficiently in English. 

Marketing Coordinator | Full-Time
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support of the department with some occasional Graphics work for the right candidate. The role involves assisting the Marketing Department with the creation, execution and distribution of all internal and external marketing communications, placing and receiving phone calls from vendors, preparing expense reports, placing print orders and tracking the invoicing and delivery of orders as well as assistance with other day to day functions of the marketing department. This position requires strong administrative, organizational and computer skills. Exceptional written and verbal communications skills is a must! Hotel experience and some working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, and similar is helpful.

PBX Phone Operator | Full-Time
This position requires exceptional phone manner, polished communication skills and demeanor, and the ability to work well independently and with a team. Flexible availability to work weekends, holidays and both day and evening shifts required. The ideal candidate has previous hotel PBX operator experience, previous front desk experience helpful.  

Restaurant Host/Hostess | Part-Time
This position requires a minimum of 1-2 years current experience as a host/greeter in an up-scale restaurant environment, English communication skills, Engaging, warm personality, and a valid San Diego Food Handler's Card. Must have flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Restaurant Food Runner | Full-Time and Part-Time available
This position requires 6 months current experience as a food runner in a fine dining environment and 1-2 years experience as a bus person in a upscale environment. Must have a valid San Diego food handler's card, and the ability to communicate proficiently in English. Must have flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.  

Restaurant Server Assistant | Full-Time and Part-Time available
This position requires 1 year current experience as a server assistant and the ability to frequently perform standing and walking activities related. Must be able to communicate proficiently in English, and must have a valid San Diego Food Handler's Card. 

Spa Concierge | Part-Time
This position requires 1-2 years experience in a customer service related field. Must have the ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor and must have the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of all guests and hotel information. Must be able to lift and carry up to 10lbs. frequently and 25lbs occasionally.
