Bar Server | Full-Time and Part-Time available
This position will serve guests food and beverage in a gracious professional manner. Provide a comfortable, exceptional dining experience through the consistent implementation of our existing steps of service. This position requires also requires a minimum of 1 year work experience in a high volume beverage or nightclub setting. Must have knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, mixed cocktails; including bottle service. San Diego Food Handlers card and ability to communicate proficiently in English is required. Must have flexibleavailability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Dishwasher/Steward | Full-Time
The person in this role is responsible for washing and cleaning glass, china, silver, pots, pans and cooking equipment by machine and hand. Keeps the dish/pot washing area and equipment clean and organized. Additionally cares for and minimize breakage of all such equipment and completes any cleaning projects as advised by Stewarding Supervisor or Chef. Must be able to lift/carry up to 30lbs. frequently and 45lbs. occasionally. Flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must have basic English communication skills.     

Front Office Agent | Full-Time
The Front Office Agent represents the resort to the guests throughout their stay by working with all departments to ensure guest satisfaction and exceed their expectation. The person in this role greets guests with an enthusiastic approach and helpful manner. Assist and anticipate guests’ needs in order to make their stay memorable, provide a high level of service and promote Rancho Valencia notoriety. This position requires customer service experience preferably in an upscale hotel or resort environment. Must be computer literate, knowledge of Word and Excel. Must have flexible availability for varying shift days and times. Must have the ability to communicate proficiently in English. 

Housekeeping Room Attendant | A.M. Full-Time & P.M. Part-Time
The Room attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of the guest rooms interior and exterior including guest patios, entrance areas and linen closets. Other responsibilities include deep cleaning and performing special projects. Room attendants use personalized mobile packs to carry their supplies and are responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms. Room attendants contribute to the resort commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork.     

Line Cooks | Full-Time
This position is responsible for preparing and planning for breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Maintains established quality standards. Know assigned menus and be able to assist other employees. Successful candidates have a culinary degree and a minimum of 2 years culinary work experience in a fine dining environment. Candidates that do not have a culinary degree must have a minimum of 3 to 4 years fine dining experience cooking international and regional cuisine. All candidates must possess a San Diego Food Handler's card and must have the ability to communicate proficiently in English. 

Overnight Cook | Full-Time
The Overnight Cook is responsible to prepare and serve food items for guests and employees during the overnight. Complete nightly prep work and to prepare for breakfast shift. Maintain established quality standards. Know assigned menus. Must be self-motivated, dependable, reliable and willing to work under minimal supervision. Successful candidates have a culinary degree and a minimum of 2 years cooking experience in a fine dining environment. Candidates that do not have a culinary degree must have a minimum of 3 years cooking experience in breakfast and lunch in international and regional cooking in a fine dining establishment.

PBX Phone Operator | Full-Time
This position requires exceptional phone manner, polished communication skills and demeanor, and the ability to work well independently and with a team. Flexible availability to work weekends, holidays and both day and evening shifts required. The ideal candidate has previous hotel PBX operator experience, previous front desk experience helpful.

Pool Cook | Full-Time
This position maintains established quality standards. Know assigned menus and be able to assist other employees. Successful candidates have a culinary degree and a minimum of 2 years culinary work experience in a fine dining environment. Candidates that do not have a culinary degree must have a minimum of 3 to 4 years fine dining experience cooking international and regional cuisine. All candidates must possess a San Diego Food Handler's card and must have the ability to communicate proficiently in English.

Pool Server | Full-Time
This position requires a minimum of 1 year experience as a restaurant server or equivalent. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift/pull/push at least 30lbs frequently, and must be able to use up selling techniques successfully. Must have a valid San Diego Food Handlers card and the ability to communicate proficiently in English. Must have flexible availability to work weekends and holidays. 

Restaurant Food Runner | Full-Time & Part-Time available
This position requires 6 months current experience as a food runner in a fine dining environment and 1-2 years experience as a bus person in an upscale environment. Must have a valid San Diego food handler's card, and the ability to communicate proficiently in English. Must have flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Restaurant Server Assistant P.M. | Full-Time
This position will assist restaurant servers in providing quality food and beverage service to guests, according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas and equipment. This position requires 1 year current experience as a food runner in a fine dining environment and 2-3 years experience as a bus person in a upscale environment. Must have a valid San Diego food handler's card and the ability to communicate proficiently in English. Must have flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. 

Spa Massage Therapist | On-Call
This position requires a minimum of 2 years Massage experience in a resort spa setting, overall minimum of 5 years' experience, excellent Swedish, Deep Therapeutic, Hot Stone and pre-natal massage, SD County license & CA Certification of Massage. Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.
