Exempt Position

Food & Beverage Manager | Exempt
This position requires 1-3 years current experience managing luxury resort or fine dining restaurant operation. Must be able to work variable schedule including nights, weekends and all major holidays, must have a valid San Diego County Food Handlers Card and TIPS certification. Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.  

Spa Assistant Manager | Exempt
Supports the Spa Director in establishing and maintaining day-to-day operations of the spa facility including but not limited to leading and monitoring the performance of Concierge, therapists, service providers, cleaning staff and locker attendants. With the direction of the Spa Director, supports training efforts and monitors adherence to service standards to assure a smooth, five star performance while exceeding every guest's expectation every time. Follows established standards for resolving guest and employee concerns and is able to think and act quickly for circumstances without a defined protocol. Must have a minimum of 1 year management experience in a high end, luxury service environment. Requires strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient ability with computer booking systems and communicates clearly with guest, staff and vendors, to their understanding. 

Hourly/Non-Exempt Positions

Banquet Captain | On-Call
This position requires a minimum of 5 years Captain experience in a 4 or 5 star resort environment. Must have cash handling and point of sales experience. Must be have basic computer knowledge and able to communicate proficiently in English.  

Banquet Server | On-Call
This position requires a minimum of 5 years Captain experience in a 4 or 5 star resort environment. Must have cash handling and point of sales experience. Must be have basic computer knowledge and able to communicate proficiently in English.  

Bartender | Full-Time
This position requires a minimum of 1-2 years current experience as a bartender in a resort environment. Must have a valid San Diego Food Handlers card and the ability to communicate proficiently in English.  

Housekeeping Office  Coordinator | Full-Time
The Housekeeping Office Coordinator assists with all office duties of the housekeeping department such as answering calls, payroll, inventories, coordinating dry cleaning service, ordering, preparing boards, coordinating work orders and guests requests and serves as the primary dispatcher for Housekeeping and Engineering departments. Position works with managers and employees to carry out procedures for a clean resort. Ensures guest satisfaction and maximizes the financial performance of the department. Must have excellent, professional phone etiquette, general computer skills, attention to detail, and must have the ability to communicate proficiently in English. Bilingual preferred.

Housekeeper | Full-Time
This position requires 2 years housekeeping experience preferably in a resort or hotel environment. The person in this role must be able to push/pull/lift a minimum of 25lbs. frequently and 30lbs. occasionally and be able to stand for a long periods of time . Must have basic English communication skills. 

Lead Mixologist | Full-Time
This supervisory position will oversee the spirit and beer program of a luxury hotel, as well as supervise the floor and oversee closing duties. Duties include but are not limited to specialty cocktail creation, staff education, purchasing and placements of items, pricing, inventory controls, closing procedures for hotel bar, participation in promotional efforts such as off site events, bartender competitions, and any other need that benefits the beverage program for the property.The right candidate will have previous experience managing beverage programs and specialty cocktail creation. Minimum of 6 years bartending needed and 2 years overseeing beverage program and cocktail creation. A high level of knowledge on all spirits is needed, and an emphasis on tequila is beneficial.

Line Cook | Full-Time
Successful candidates have a culinary degree and a minimum of 2 years culinary work experience in a fine dining environment. Candidates that do not have a culinary degree must have a minimum of 3 to 4 years fine dining experience cooking international and regional cuisine. All candidates must possess a San Diego Food Handler's card and must have the ability to communicate proficiently in English.

Massage Therapist | On-Call
This position requires a minimum of 2 years Massage experience in a resort spa setting, overall minimum of 5 years experience, excellent Swedish, Deep Therapeutic, Hot Stone and pre-natal massage, NCBTMB certification (dated within two years of hire), SD County license & CA Certification of Massage. Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.

Pool Servers | Seasonal Part-Time
This position requires a minimum of 1 year experience as a restaurant server or equivalent. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift/pull/push at least 30lbs frequently, and must be able to use up selling technRestaurant

Restaurant Host/Hostess | Seasonal Part-Time
This position requires a minimum of 1-2 years current experience as a host/greeter in an up-scale restaurant environment, English communication skills, Engaging, warm personality, and a valid San Diego Food Handler's Card. Must have flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. 

Restaurant Server Assistant| Part-Time 
This position requires 1 year current experience as a server assistant and the ability to frequently perform standing and walking activities related. Must be able to communicate proficiently in English, and must have a valid San Diego Food Handler's Card.  

Service Bartender | Part-Time
This position requires a minimum of 6 months experience as a bartender in a resort environment. Must have a valid San Diego Food Handlers card and the ability to communicate proficiently in English.

Spa Fitness Attendant | Full-Time
This position requires flexible availability to work varied shifts including weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings and holidays. This position requires the ability to lift, pull, carry and push 40lbs frequently, and 60 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.

Steward | Full-Time
This position requires prior knowledge of hotel or restaurant stewarding operations, must be able to multi-task, must have a valid San Diego Food Handler's card, and must be able to communicate proficiently in English. Requires minimum lifting ability of 40 pounds frequently, frequent bending, lifting and stooping.  

Tennis Pro | On-Call
This position requires a minimum of 4.5 level, USTA, USPTA certified, or PTR member, the ability to stand for long periods of time and the ability to frequently push/pull/lift. Must be able to communicate proficiently in English and must have flexible availability to work different shifts,
